Saints of Faith is asking for your help. We are just under $2000 away from being able to completing the album project. After you have prayed about it, you feel that God is prompting you to give us a hand, please mail us a gift to PO Box 55 Mt. Zion, IL 62549. If you are able to do this, in return we will be glad to give you a special thanks on the CD inserts. Up until the day of printing is authorized those who donate will be listed. Crown of Mercy Dissolved
Crown of Mercy is Dissolved
The Progressive Christian Rock group Crown of Mercy is now dissolved. Rick and Dirk the two main writers of the band, the singer, and lead guitarist have teamed up with Bill Lamb to form Saints of Faith. The reason for this move is due to health problems related to Mike Reed the bass player. In good conscience, Rick, Dirk, and Bill decided that Crown of Mercy should no longer exist since Mike was such a big part of the project from the beginning. We ask that our fans please forgive our absence and join us in prayer for Mike and his family. Mike we are still with you brother.
Saints of Faith Launch
With every darkness there will be light. Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened. Rick, Dirk, and Bill are the eternal optimists in all circumstances. This is due to the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Not only has God once again taken a bad situation and made it into something beautiful, but he has given Rick, Dirk, and Bill a new focus and passion for Christ that will carry them into never before seen heights. Since they have made the decision to become a 3 piece, the music has soared, the lyrics have exploded, and the passion has risen in His Spirit like never before. With Rick on bass and singing lead vocals, Dirk on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Bill on drums and backing vocals, Saints of Faith has developed into the most awesome new Christian Rock group to come along in decades. Their music will fire up any listener that has a soul. Rick's lyrics will stir anyone with a heart for God. Why? Because it is not about Rick, Dirk, or Bill. It is not their music or their lyrics. It is all His, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These guys are truly humble and take no credit for this at all. As Dirk likes to say, "It is addition from subtraction."
Thank you to all of the Fans for enduring, your prayers, and your encouragement. Without your support, none of this would be possible. We hope to have the new album out by first of May! Once again a sincere thank you to all of you who has kept the faith.
New Album Release!
The new album is scheduled to be released spring of 2010! It will be worth the wait. They have been working on this diligently for almost a year. God has really blessed the music, lyrics, and the spirit of the music and its message.
It has something for everyone. If you are moved by the challenges in this country right now, then you will love it. If you are focused on the saving grace of Christ, you will love it. If you like to bask in the Spirit of Christ, you will love it.
Praise and glory to Him! We are really excited for the new album and to play it everywhere we can. Thank you for being patient.
